Getting Started
Download ThunderVolt for Mac at thundervolt.app/download. Install the companion app on your iPhone or Apple Watch by searching "ThunderVolt" on the App Store. Both sync automatically via iCloud, with no manual setup required.
The Mac app requires a one-time helper install on first launch. Follow the on-screen prompt to authorize it; that is what enables hardware-level SMC control.

iPhone & Watch Remote Control
If you can't control your Mac from your iPhone or Apple Watch:
- Make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account
- Confirm iCloud Drive is enabled on all devices under System Settings → Apple ID
- The Mac must be running ThunderVolt 1.1 or later with the helper daemon installed
- Allow a few minutes after first launch for the initial iCloud sync

Restoring a Pro License
Your Pro license is linked to your iCloud account. If Pro features aren't unlocking:
- Check that iCloud Drive is enabled on all devices
- Verify you're signed into the same Apple ID that activated the license
- Open ThunderVolt → Settings → License and tap Restore
- If the issue persists, email support@thundervolt.app with your order number

Subscription payments are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. See the Refund Policy for full details and how to request one.

Report a Bug
Email support@thundervolt.app with:
- Device (Mac model, iPhone, or Apple Watch)
- macOS / iOS / watchOS version
- ThunderVolt version (shown in Settings)
- What happened vs. what you expected
Screenshots or screen recordings are always helpful. We'll respond within 24 hours.

- Mac: macOS 14 Sonoma or later (Apple Silicon or Intel T2+)
- iPhone: iOS 18 or later
- Apple Watch: watchOS 11 or later
- Cross-device sync: iCloud Drive enabled on all devices
